For more than 50 years, the Rigotti company has been harvesting reeds from Provence to transform them into reeds suitable for different wind instruments. Their local know-how and the "Made in France" production, appeal to musicians and manufacturers from all over the world. In 2015, the French “Living Heritage Companies” label was awarded to Rigotti in recognition of their local know-how.

The Wild reeds are cut from wild canes and therefore have a slightly different color than traditional reeds. Their thicker tip helps them last longer and the thinner bevel allows for a brighter and more punchy sound well suited to contemporary music styles. Rich in harmonics, Wild reeds also work well in orchestral, big band and jazz settings. Same strength like a Rigotti Gold
